Liberty Plaza is located in central Newcastle; a few minutes around the corner from Newcastle University Business School. It is also a 10 minute walk from Newcastle University and Northumbria University. The location of the residence means you will never be far away from the exciting social scenes the city has to offer.

Newcastle’s bars and pubs are known for being extremely welcoming and great value for students with their good old Northern prices. You will be spoilt for choice when it comes to entertainment as Liberty Plaza is located around hundreds of restaurants, bars, and music venues.

Newcastle’s main train station is 10 minutes’ walk away and provides a quick link to other brilliant places around the UK. Additionally, Newcastle has its own Metro system which connects the city centre with Jesmond, Gateshead, Sunderland and the coast in just under 30 minutes. There are five stations within walking distance of Liberty Plaza. The Metro service also has a direct line through Newcastle train station and out to Newcastle Airport for those living abroad.
